From Idea to MVP in 8 Weeks: Our Process

The week-by-week process we use to take a founder's idea from concept to a live, testable product.

Most MVP timelines fail not because the engineering is hard but because scope creeps and prioritisation debates never resolve.

Week 1-2: Discovery and Definition

A 3-hour working session with the founding team. The goal: a clear problem statement, prioritised user stories, and an agreed definition of done. We use Jobs To Be Done to strip features back to what users need.

Week 3: Architecture and Design

System architecture, data models, and API contracts defined in writing before engineering begins. This week determines whether the next 5 go smoothly.

Week 4-6: Build

Engineering and design run in parallel. Fixed scope, fixed timeline. Scope changes require explicit sign-off and add time to the estimate.

Week 7-8: QA and Launch

A dedicated QA week followed by staging, monitoring setup, and go-live.
